Tsuboki Japanese Therapy

What is Tsuboki?

Tsuboki Massage is a unique therapy that combines several different therapies to provide an overall sense of relaxation.

"Tsuboki" involves massaging a small part of the body to influence the overall health of the person.

It focuses on muscles and acupressure points (tsubo), inspired by the principles of meridian therapy. It aims to balance energy flow and promote a sense of health and being grounded.

"What would I need Tsuboki for?"

Tsuboki Hand Massage

Tsuboki Hand Massage rebalances your whole body through targeted hand therapy. Our hardworking hands deserve attention before problems arise. This accessible therapy requires no special equipment and can be done anywhere.

What's included:

  • Forearm warm-up (where hand-controlling muscles are located)

  • Hand and wrist mobilisation

  • Complete hand surface massage, accessing all reflex areas

Benefits:

  • Improved finger/wrist range of motion

  • Enhanced circulation

  • Assistance with arthritis

  • Whole-body reflexology effects (hands connect to all organs like feet do)

  • Deep relaxation

This massage works through acupressure points and meridians to deliver effects beyond the physical, giving your entire body an MOT through your hands.

What should I wear?

Tsuboki Japanese Massage is performed with you fully clothed, usually lying comfortably on a massage couch. We suggest wearing a loose-fitting top so your neck and shoulders can be easily accessed. No oils are used, and your face will be gently cleansed before the massage begins.
