WHAT WE OFFER

Psychotherapy

What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a collaborative process that helps you explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours in a safe, supportive environment. Rather than simply managing symptoms, it works at a deeper level — uncovering the unconscious processes, past experiences, and relational dynamics that shape how you think and feel today.

It can support anyone experiencing anxiety, depression, or persistent low mood; relationship difficulties or attachment issues; trauma or unresolved childhood experiences; stress, burnout, or life transitions; or simply a desire for deeper self-understanding.

Sessions typically involve open dialogue with a trained psychotherapist who listens without judgement and helps you explore your inner world. The process is tailored to you, moving at whatever pace feels right, and may draw on several approaches:

  • Integrative Psychotherapy: A flexible, tailored approach combining techniques from different therapeutic models — humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural — to meet your unique needs as they evolve.

  • Psychodynamic Psychotherapy: Explores unconscious thoughts, early life experiences, and relational patterns to help you understand how the past shapes the present.

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): A structured, evidence-based approach that helps identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, particularly effective for anxiety, depression, and stress.

Not sure whether counselling or psychotherapy is right for you? Counselling tends to be shorter-term and focused on specific challenges, while psychotherapy works at a deeper level over a longer period, aiming for more profound change. Both are highly effective — it comes down to your goals.

Whispering

What Can it Help With?

What Should I Expect?

Your first session is a chance to get to know your therapist and talk about what's brought you to therapy — your reasons for seeking support, relevant life experience, and practical details like session structure and confidentiality.

This initial meeting is about building trust and creating a safe space. There's no pressure to share everything at once — therapy moves at your pace, and together you and your therapist will agree on a plan that feels right for you.

Who Will I See?

You'll be seen by one of our fully accredited practitioners.
