WHAT WE OFFER

Sports Massage

What is Sports Massage and Who is it For?

Sports massage is a form of soft tissue therapy that uses a variety of techniques to relieve the physical strain we put on our muscles, tendons, and ligaments — increasing range of motion, aiding recovery, and reducing stiffness and soreness.

"But I'm not sporty, can I have sports massage?"

Despite the name, sports massage is for everyone, not just "sporty" people. Whether you're an ultra runner, a regular at the gym, a keen dog walker, or someone who sits behind a desk all day, sports massage can help with soft tissue dysfunction caused by daily strain, occupational stress, or muscular aches from busy day-to-day life.

Sports (sometimes called "remedial") massage draws on a strong understanding of human anatomy and a range of techniques — from traditional effleurage and cross-fibre work to more targeted trigger point and muscle energy techniques.

It's particularly effective at relieving muscle tightness and stiffness, improving mobility and range of motion, and supporting faster recovery after physical exertion — whether that's from sport, physical work, or simply the wear of everyday life.

What is Sports Massage Good at Achieving?

What is TECAR Therapy?

TECAR therapy is a modern addition to Daniela's practice — it uses high-frequency electromagnetic energy to stimulate the body's natural healing process, primarily for pain management, reducing inflammation, and promoting tissue repair.

It's safe, non-invasive, and used widely by sports professionals worldwide to relieve pain, speed up recovery, and restore mobility.

There are two modes:

Capacitive (CET), which targets soft tissues like muscles, and Resistive (RET), which reaches deeper into joints, tendons, and bone. Sessions are painless — usually described as a gentle warmth spreading through the treated area — with no downtime needed afterward.
