Hannah Vellender

Registered Osteopath

** STARTING AUGUST 27th! **

Hannah studied at Health Sciences University (formerly the University College of Osteopathy), where she trained in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions ranging from joint and muscle pain to sports injuries and arthritic conditions. Her approach centres on restoring mobility and building strength to support recovery from both new injuries and long-standing pain.

Hannah combines hands-on osteopathic treatment with personalised rehabilitation and exercise programmes, ensuring patients are actively involved in their recovery. She places great emphasis on understanding each patient’s individual health goals and develops tailored treatment plans to help them build lasting confidence in their bodies. Hannah is also a qualified Sports Massage Therapist, a course she completed alongside her studies to complement her hands-on approach.

She particularly enjoys treating neck and jaw pain, foot and ankle complaints, and hypermobility-related conditions. This interest stems from 15 years spent dancing modern, tap and lyrical, during which she experienced repetitive injuries and discovered her own hypermobility, an experience she explored further through her dissertation research into rehabilitation for hypermobile patients.

Outside the clinic, Hannah now enjoys strength training at the gym, exploring new food spots, and getting outdoors. Her dance background gives her a practical understanding of how repetitive movement and injury affect the body, and how the right rehabilitation can support long-term recovery and confidence.
