Ceri is a fully qualified integrative counsellor, working with adults, young people and adolescents. She is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and practises in accordance with its Ethical Framework.

Before training as a counsellor, Ceri spent over 18 years working in education, including in senior leadership roles. Through this experience, she developed a strong interest in emotional wellbeing and the importance of providing people with a safe, supportive space where they feel listened to and understood. Alongside her counselling practice, she also works as a counselling lecturer.

Ceri trained in integrative counselling and draws on a range of therapeutic approaches, tailoring her work to the individual needs of each client. She places particular importance on building a trusting therapeutic relationship, offering warmth, empathy and a non-judgemental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace.

She believes that counselling can help people develop a deeper understanding of themselves, make sense of difficult experiences and find ways to move forwards. Working collaboratively with clients, she recognises their individual strengths and supports them to make changes that feel meaningful to them.

Ceri has experience of working with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, bereavement, low self-esteem and challenges associated with life transitions. Through her work in education and counselling, she also has experience of supporting young people with their emotional wellbeing and navigating the challenges of adolescence.

She is passionate about helping people feel heard, valued and accepted, and believes that a strong therapeutic relationship can provide the foundation for personal growth and positive change.
