Abigail Camps is an Independent Speech & Language Therapist supporting adults with swallowing, communication, voice, and reflux related difficulties.

She has worked in the NHS for the past 11 years, most recently at Guy’s & St Thomas’, where she developed specialist skills in cancer rehabilitation, complex swallowing problems and speech & language rehabilitation.

Abigail has also worked on hospital wards and outpatient clinics with people who have difficulties caused by neurological problems as well as with people who have voice problems and reflux.

She cares deeply about helping people feel understood and making sure their therapy plan is meaningful and useful. Her approach is calm, practical, and centred around what matters most to them.

Abigail also enjoys contributing to the wider profession — presenting at conferences, sharing learning with Clinical Excellence Networks and supporting service development within teams.

Now working independently, Abigail offers flexible, person-centred therapy designed to improve comfort, function, and quality of life.
